But when these newly-minted “heroes” get tangled in a real life web of mobsters and dirty detectives, they must put their fake badges on the line.

If you know Alfred Hitchcock as The Master of Suspense ™, or as academia's All-Star Auteur, Hitchcock may bum you out. But if you know him as the TV personality and MC of "Alfred Hitchcock Presents," this may represent such a fall from grace. Sacha Gervasi (Anvil: The Story of Anvil) has transformed Stephen Rebello’s book "Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho" into an episode of Hitchcock's TV show, replete with the edge softening and shallowness required for broadcast.

After breaking up with her boyfriend on Valentine's Day, Jenny (Rachel Blanchard) shares a red-eye flight from Los Angeles to New York with a love-damaged group of passengers -- a pilot with anger management issues (Anthony LaPaglia), some oversexed flight attendants, a hip-hop superstar trying to keep it real in coach and a handsome young professor who's been unlucky in romance (James D'Arcy).

W.E. tells the story of two fragile but determined women - Wally Winthrop and Wallis Simpson - separated by more than six decades. In 1998, lonely New Yorker Wally Winthrop (Abbie Cornish) is obsessed with what she perceives as the ultimate love story: King Edward's VIII's abdication of the British throne for the woman he loved, American divorcée Wallis Simpson.
