Rentrak.com released the following estimates from this past weekend with the number one film worldwide going to 20th Century Fox and Dreamworks Animation's "KUNG FU PANDA 3" starring the voices of Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, Bryan Cranston, Angelina Jolie, J.K. Simmons, Kate Hudson, Lucy Liu, Seth Rogen, Jackie Chan and David Cross. "KUNG FU PANDA 3" grossed an impressive $116.7 million internationally and $41.0 million domestically.20th Century Fox's "THE REVENANT" took second place internationally with $36.7 million and $12.4 million domestically.

“Kung Fu Panda 3” grossed an estimated $10.5 million at the box office on Friday, on its way toward a $40 million opening weekend, well ahead of other newcomers “The Finest Hours” and “Fifty Shades of Black.”
The third installment in the DreamWorks Animation franchise was tracking somewhere between $45 million to $50 million on a $140 million budget.

Stine (Jack Black) himself, writes the Goosebumps stories and keeps all the ghosts and monsters in the series locked up in his manuscripts like Slappy the Dummy, the Abominable Snowman, Will Blake's werewolf form, the Giant Mantises, and the living lawn gnomes. Zach and his friend unintentionally open one of Stine's books, leading to the release of every ghost and monster from the manuscripts.
