6 Things Even Non-Fans of ‘Star Wars’ Can Appreciate About That New Trailer Walt Disney Studios If you’ve so far avoided checking out the first trailer for Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens because you don’t consider yourself a fan of one of the most famous, popular and profitable film franchises in cinematic history, well, that’s kind of weird. On the other hand, it’s not too late to get on board with the series, especially since we have an entire year to go until J.J. Abrams’ entry in the franchise zips into a theater near you. C3PO Actor Suggests ‘Star Wars Episode 7′ Might End Up Being A Better Sequel Than ‘Empire Strikes Back’ Anthony Daniels, the actor who has played the famous droid C3-PO in all of the Star Warts movies including the upcoming seventh film, took to twitter to make a bold claim. 'Star Wars: Episode VII' Resumes Production

Even before Harrison Ford accidentally shut down production on Star Wars: Episode VII by getting his leg crushed on the Millennium Falcon, speculation ran rampant regarding director J.J. Abrams' rumored reluctance to meet or agree to Disney's demands for a December 2015 release date. Once Ford was laid up for weeks, many wondered whether the studio might be forced to bump the highly anticipated follow-up to 1983's Return of the Jedi.

‘Star Wars Episode VII’ Will Resume Shooting Soon Just like in the beginning of Return of the Jedi, it took a while, but Han Solo is ready to go again. Harrison Ford‘s leg injury appears to be almost fully healed and after a two week hiatus, Star Wars Episode VII will resume shooting later this month. Read more about the Star Wars 7 filming schedule below. The Hollywood Reporter broke the news, which was expected considering the July 6 update revealed the hiatus. But after writer director J.J. Abrams and crew finished filming in Ireland, he was spotted back in Los Angeles.
