Hugh Jackman News

Pan Trailer Released By Warner Bros Not to be outdone, Warner Bros has released the trailer for Pan – the origin story of Peter Pan starring Hugh Jackman and directed by Joe Wright. Offering a new take on the origin of the classic characters created by J.M. Barrie, the action adventure follows the story of an orphan who is spirited away to the magical Neverland.

Check out the first pictures of Hugh Jackman in Joe Wright's Pan Earlier this year Hugh Jackman took to the web to show off what many thought would be his new hairstyle for the upcoming PAN film from Joe Wright (ATONEMENT, HANNA). While Jackman rocks that bald look like few can, that was not the end of his transformation for the role of Blackbeard. As you can see from the picture above and ones below, Blackbeard sports a style more coiffed than one might expect.... Read More...

Exclusive X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST Blu-ray Clip Shows Cerebro Bringing Generations Together X-Men: Days of Future Past is now available on Blu-ray, and today we're pleased to bring you an exclusive clip from the special features.  The clip points out fourteen years have passed between the original X-Men and the latest installment, and how that gulf has been bridged not only by the DOFP's plot, but by the actors in between.  In the clip, Hoult explains how walking through Cerebro alongside Hugh Jackman is his "childhood come to life", and Jackman reminds us that the very first thing he ever shot for the X-Men franchise was a scene that took place inside Cerebro. What does one do after one has rocked and socked one's robots? It's a question whose answer didn't appear to be especially pressing after director Shawn Levy directed Hugh Jackman in the robot-boxin' flick Real Steel in 2011, but since the movie grossed nearly $300 million worldwide, DreamWorks greenlighted a sequel -- one that's languished in development limbo ever since, thanks to Jackman's X-Men obligations and what seems to be generally pokey work on a script.

‘Real Steel 2′ Still Being Developed by Hugh Jackman & Shawn Levy

screenrant.com – Hugh Jackman’s sci-fi/sports offering Real Steel did perfectly alright by itself back during its theatrical run in 2011, when it earned a decent critical reception overall and took in just shy of $300 million worldwide ($85 million in the U.S.). 11 weeks 2 days ago via jetli

Hugh Jackman Shows Off His Blackbeard Look For Joe Wright’s Pan “Blackbeard is born,” says Hugh Jackman in a new selfie posted today to his Instagram. That would be Joe Wright’s version of Blackbeard, who will be serving as the main villain in his Pan, a revisionist retelling of Peter Pan. It’s now filming in London, with Garrett Hedlund, Rooney Mara, Amanda Seyfried and newcomer Levi Miller in tow as Peter. Blackbeard looks a lot like how Jackman’s Jean Valjean looked at the beginning of Les Miserables.

Hugh Jackman Goes Bald for Blackbeard in 'Pan' (PHOTO)

news.moviefone.com – Avast ye, mateys, Hugh Jackman is ready to swash some buckles and send scallywags down the plank! The actor posted a photo on Instagram of his new look -- a bald head and pointy beard -- for his role as Blackbeard in the upcoming movie "Pan." It's a far cry from his appearance when he hosted Sunday's Tony Awards, where he sported a full head of hair and a bushier beard.

X-Men: Days of Future Past
This weekend may see something spectacular happen—the Phoenix-like rebirth (pun only slightly intended) of a franchise with a shaky past, as Marvel takes a potential huge step forward with the X-Men series. To make sure this weekend isn’t too exciting, however, this phenomenon is tempered by the release of another Adam Sandler comedy.

Review: 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' Might Shoot Too Often, But At Least It Aims High

X-Men
It isn't perfect, and it's probably not a very good entry point for anybody unfamiliar with the film series and its comics counterparts, but for a movie that sends an enormous cast hurling around the world and across time, X-Men: Days of Future Past does a pretty darn impressive job of never losing sight of its plot.

Hugh Jackman in "X-Men: Days of Future Past"
A couple of days ago, Bryan Singer’s “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” the sequel to “X-Men: First Class” that unites popular cast members from the entire franchise, scored a near perfect 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. I was thinking it can’t possibly stay that high by the time it opens today; my prediction was mid to high 80s.
