The Sessions
fb.indiewire.com – Julia Loktev's Gotham Award nominated "The Loneliest Planet" led a generally uneventful weekend at the indie box office, topping fellow newcomers "The Other Son" and "District of Corruption." Also of note this weekend was decent second weekends for "The Sessions" and "Holy Motors," while "Middle of Nowhere," "Smashed" and "The Paperboy" all continued to struggle.

'Looper,' 'Holy Motors' and 'Sinister' Top the Twisted Second Wave of Fantastic Fest Films

feedproxy.google.com – The second wave of Fantastic Fest films is incredibly irritating. Why? Because alongside the first wave of titles, it represents the best line up in the festival’s history, and I won’t be there for the first time in years. Have no fear, because we’ll have plenty of Rejects on the ground covering every inch of film, but I will be twiddling my thumbs at home wishing I was getting drunk off of a third Guinness milkshake and watching weird movies. 5 years 17 weeks ago via jackiechan

Cannes: Lost Patience with Leos Carax's "Holy Motors"

8:21 AM 5/26/2012 by Senh Duong
Holy Motors
Leos Carax's "Holy Motors" was a tough film to sit through, especially after what happened to me that morning. I had stayed up until about 3 AM updating Wopular, slept just a couple hours and rushed to the 7:39 AM train ride without breakfast. When I got to Cannes for the 8:30 AM screening of “On The Road,” I found out I had forgotten my press badge.

TRAILER: 'Holy Motors' Gets Instant Crazy-Ass Cult Item Status At Cannes

Holy Motors
bleedingcool.com – Screenings of Leos Carax' Holy Motors have been met with extended ovations and symphonies of whooping over in Cannes. I’m sure Peter will be along soon enough to tell us what he thinks about it, but if he’s anything like the average, he’ll be in love. And he’ll probably compare it to Mulholland Drive, Being John Malkovich or even Cosmopolis. 5 years 29 weeks ago via donnieyen
