After suffering what seems like years and years of bad buzz and shifting release dates, Keanu Reeves' martial arts epic 47 Ronin is finally headed to a theater near you, and it has the trailer to prove it.

We've been taught to temper our expectations when it comes to seeing Wolverine on the big screen, but Fox really wants you to get excited about James Mangold's The Wolverine, and they've just unleashed the Comic-Con footage that's supposed to make it happen.

Now that they've finished screwing around with the sadly requisite rounds of teaser trailer teasers, Fox has finally deigned to give us our first honest-to-Logan Wolverine preview, dropping 2:27 of action-laced goodness on the Wolvie-lovin' masses. In a word: Snikt!

For one of Marveldom's most beloved (and seemingly cinema-friendly) heroes, Wolverine has had sort of a rough go of it -- while he appeared in the hit X-Men movie and its first hit sequel, he also had to suffer through the third X-Men, as well as the severely underwhelming X-Men Origins:

With the shoot scheduled for next month in August, Fox is filling out the cast for The Wolverine. The latest to join is Jessica Biel.
deadline.com – Japan’s Hiroyuki Sanada is set to play Wolverine foe Shingen in 20th Century Fox’s upcoming The Wolverine, starring Hugh Jackman and directed by James Mangold. Lauren Shuler-Donner, Kevin Feige, Jackman and Hutch Parker are producing the X-Men sequel, which begins production next month in Australia and later in Japan.
