We know Thanos is looming in the distance as the major baddie in Marvel's Phase Three movies, with his next appearance scheduled to take place in this summer's Guardians of the Galaxy (presumably to be followed by a major role in The Avengers 3). What we don't know is who's going to play him -- but as always, Marvel is a step ahead.

Wondering when we'll see Thanos back on the big screen, Marvel fans? Well, wonder no more: Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has revealed that the bloodthirsty bad guy will make an appearance -- in motion-capture form, no less -- as part of a plotline that feeds into Avengers 3.
