James Gunn talks up his plans for Guardians 2 plus Stan Lee's original cameo For those of you who are all about the Con, the whole Con and nothing but the Con, you're all too familiar with Dragon Con that went on this past weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. There were a lot of cool costumes and people in attendance and that includes GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY director James Gunn and his brother Sean. Karen Gillan Reveals Video Of Her Shaving Head For GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY When you think of beautiful redheads, it's likely that former Doctor Who star Karen Gillan will come to mind almost instantly. It was a shock then when the Scottish actress revealed at last year's San Diego Comic-Con that she had shaved her head for the role of Nebula in Marvel and James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy, and a video of her doing just that has now found its way online.  You have to imagine that Gillan could have got away with NOT shaving her head for the role, but the fact that she was willing to is pretty damn cool.

The superhero flick took $17 million at home, and continues to make serious coin, with the worldwide total now approaching $550 million.

The movie has been pegged as the clear winner of the Labor Day weekend, and after taking $3.5 million today, it looks set to earn $19 million in total during its fifth week of release. The Marvel Studios movie faces little competition from The November Man (starring Pierce Brosnan) which will open in second with $15 million.
