Japanese ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Spots Capture the Film’s Weird Sense of Fun Guardians of the Galaxy is the highest-grossing film of 2014 in the US so far, and is doing well overseas. They focus on Rocket, Groot, and the bunch of losers as a whole. Each spot opens with some normal images of raccoons or trees, before going to the familiar images of our weird heroes messing up jumpsuited aliens in the prison sequence.
