'Tusk' Trailer Debuts, Makes Us Believe in Kevin Smith Again

Tusk
It's been a frightfully long time since Kevin Smith made a movie that made us feel like watching it again (or, in the case of dreck like Cop Out, even finishing the damn thing once), and on paper, it doesn't look like Tusk -- the story of a doofus podcaster who wanders into the Canadian wilderness and gets himself mixed up with a mad scientist who wants to turn him into a walrus -- stands a prayer of breaking that dismal streak.

Watch: First Trailer for Kevin Smith's Weird Walrus Movie 'Tusk' Walrus Yes! After hosting a panel at Comic-Con 2014 for Tusk, filmmaker Kevin Smith and A24 Films have debuted the trailer online for your viewing pleasure. Or distaste, perhaps. The movie is about a man, played by Michael Parks, who wants to make another human, played by Justin Long, into a walrus. Kind of like Human Centipede but with a weird, wacky, funny Kevin Smith twist. In addition to those two, the cast includes Genesis Rodriguez as his girlfriend, and Haley Joel Osment (yea, him!) as another friend, who go on the hunt for him when he goes missing.

Genesis Rodriguez Will Be In Kevin Smith's 'Tusk'

feedproxy.google.com – We’ve heard lots about Kevin Smith‘s upcoming horror movie Tusk, but we haven’t heard where the beautiful girl fits in. We know Justin Long plays a podcaster who goes to interview an old man (Michael Parks) who then makes him dress up like a seal. There’s also a detective role with a big star set, though Smith is mum on exactly who plays him. 5 years 48 weeks ago via jackiechan
