Robocop
This Valentine’s Day weekend boasts quite the array of new releases, most of them related in some way to the amorous mood of the holiday, be it risqué rom-com humor, century-spanning adventure, or classic star-crossed lovers. And then there’s Robocop.

Carrie
The quest for blockbuster cash has reached the point where it's a minor miracle any movie escapes the bowels of the studio system with an R rating attached, but it looks like the folks at MGM -- who are currently flush with Hobbit and Bond money -- are letting at least one of their many remakes play to the over-17 crowd.

Bad news, fans of remakes derived from hit films inspired by classic Stephen King novels: Kimberly Peirce's Carrie remake won't show up in theaters until October -- a full seven months after it was originally scheduled to arrive. The move, from March 15 to October 18, could create something of a bloody embarrassment of riches for horror enthusiasts -- Carrie will now make its bow one week before Paranormal Activity 5, and will arrive alongside Warner Bros.' Jeff Bridges-led adaptation of the witchy young adult bestseller Seventh Son.
