In animated 3D, THE NUT JOB is an action-packed comedy in fictional Oakton that follows the travails of Surly (voiced by Will Arnett), a mischievous squirrel, and his rat friend Buddy, who plan a nut store heist of outrageous proportions and unwittingly find themselves embroiled in a much more complicated and hilarious adventure.

Marlon Wayans' return to spoof comedy with this year's A Haunted House proved to be a surprise hit for fledgling distributor Open Road Films, grossing $40 million domestically and making a sequel almost inevitable. With plans for a March 28, 2014 release date for A Haunted House 2, Wayans has been joined by three more cast including Jaime Pressly, best known for her role on NBC's "My Name is Earl" and making her first film appearance in years.

Because Cars and Cars 2 weren't enough, Disney's going back to the anthropomorphic well this summer for Planes, starring Dane Cook as the voice of a talking crop duster named...Dusty. Really, do we need to keep going from here? We do? Sigh.

From above the world of "Cars" comes "Disney's Planes," an action-packed 3D animated comedy adventure featuring Dusty (voice of Dane Cook), a plane with dreams of competing as a high-flying air racer. But Dusty's not exactly built for racing—and he happens to be afraid of heights. So he turns to a seasoned naval aviator who helps Dusty qualify to take on the defending champ of the race circuit.
