Did anyone in the media take a look at the budget for “Frankenweenie?” I guess not. They were too distracted by Tim Burton’s name above the title. For the record, the stop-motion animated feature only cost $39M to make, according to Box Office Mojo. Compared to computer-animated features, which generally cost $100M-$200M, that’s super cheap.

The bad guys in Taken 2 didn't get the memo. One doesn't cross Liam Neeson's ex-CIA agent Bryan Mills and expects to live. But then again, who was left alive from the first movie to send it in the first place? Oh right, all those body bags ought give them a clue.

Yesterday, Tim Burton’s stop-motion feature “Frankenweenie” made an appearance at the top of the Facebook chart for upcoming movies. With 15,132 Facebook Likes added, it pushed the reigning champ “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” down a slot.

Comic-Con: FRANKENWEENIE Panel with Tim Burton, an Extended Trailer and New Clips – Director Tim Burton was on stage today at Comic-Con for exclusive clips and a Q&A for his animated feature, Frankenweenie. The trailer started off in the same way as the previously released trailer, but with a new vintage voiceover that acted as a throwback to the classic monster movies of old.
