Disconnect_184340.jpg
Disconnect is the newest topical drama about the ever growing gap between humans and our humanity. Which is to say we shouldn't be surprised by any news that comes out of the House of Ideas' casting department -- but it's still hard not to be shocked by today's reports that Robert Redford is in talks for Captain America:

Marvel's Kevin Feige Calls 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' "A Political Thriller"

Captain America 2
Marvel's recent successes at the box office would be impressive enough if all they were doing was churning out well-made superhero movies -- but without getting too hyperbolic about it, their best films haven't just redefined the genre's commercial possibilities, they've also redrawn its artistic parameters.
