Kurt Russell: Why Yes to Fast 7/8; No on Expendables 3 – Kurt Russell - who as a side note is just as cool, down to earth, and generally awesome as fans would hope - is busy doing press for his upcoming film The Art of the Steal. The Con Man comedy will be available on Video-On-Demand from February 17 and opens in theaters on March 14 (stay tuned for more on that).

One of the fun (and truly unexpected) things about watching the Fast & Furious franchise evolve from gearhead guilty pleasure into reliable heist-thriller blockbuster machine has been the way the movies have developed a real dramatic arc, with multiple characters growing and evolving (sort of?) over the various sequels. If Fast star Vin Diesel is to be believed, the next cast member to get the treatment will be new addition Kurt Russell.
