Whatever designs producer Avi Lerner and Sylvester Stallone have for Sigourney Weaver in The ExpendaBelles, the female-led Expendables spinoff, she won't be having any of it. According to THR, the actress has passed on the project and will instead play a boy's grandmother in Juan Antonio Bayona's adaptation of the children's fantasy novel A Monster Calls.

According to producer Avi Lerner, it'll happen sooner than later.

However, context is incredibly important, and the plot for Robert Luketic's planned "The Expendabelles", might be disturbingly insulting. 7 years 10 weeks ago via donnieyen
