Kiefer Sutherland Talks Pompeii Villain, Finally Acting With His Father

While Kiefer Sutherland was promoting the new 24: Live Another Day miniseries with the Television Critics Association, I asked him about the movies he filmed before returning to his trademark role of Jack Bauer. Sutherland shot the historical disaster movie Pompeii and the western Forsaken.

Donald Sutherland, Ellen Burstyn Join Susan Sarandon, Topher Grace in 'The Calling' (Exclusive) – Donald Sutherland and Ellen Burstyn have joined the cast of "The Calling," a thriller that began production last week, according to an individual with knowledge of the project. Gill Bellows, who recently wrapped the JFK drama "Parkland," also joins stars Topher Grace and Susan Sarandon in the film, which follows a Canadian detective (Sarandon) tracking down a serial killer with the help of a police officer (Grace).
