If you know Alfred Hitchcock as The Master of Suspense ™, or as academia's All-Star Auteur, Hitchcock may bum you out. But if you know him as the TV personality and MC of "Alfred Hitchcock Presents," this may represent such a fall from grace. Sacha Gervasi (Anvil: The Story of Anvil) has transformed Stephen Rebello’s book "Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho" into an episode of Hitchcock's TV show, replete with the edge softening and shallowness required for broadcast.

He was born Alfred Joseph Hitchcock. His father was a green grocer called William Hitchcock (1862-1914); his mother was Emma Jane Whelan (1863-1942), and he had two older siblings, William Hitchcock (born 1890) and Eileen Hitchcock (born1892). He grew up in a very strict Roman Catholic family.

deadline.com – Eric Bana and Danny Huston will star in Elvis & Nixon, an indie that marks the directing debut of actor Cary Elwes, who wrote the script with Joey Sagal and Hanala Sagal. The film’s funded by Benaroya Pictures.
