Daniel Craig unexpectedly dropped out of The Whole Truth just days before the cameras are set to roll next Monday in Boston. The start date has now been pushed back three weeks in order to find Craig's replacement, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

MGM scored a casting coup when they hired Oscar-winner Javier Bardem to play the bad guy in Skyfall, and now it sounds like they're close to pulling off another one with the 24th entry in the well-traveled James Bond franchise: Variety reports that Chiwetel Ejiofor is the frontrunner for the job.

Production of the next James Bond movie is set for October this year, but the script is still being worked on, screenwriter John Logan said. "Right now the first draft is almost done,” Logan told Empire. "I'm terrifically excited about it! I've been working very closely with Sam (Mendes), and it’s been joyous to pick up from our work on Skyfall and just continue on with the storytelling."
