Denzel Washington Circling Nightcrawler Director’s Next Film In 2014, writer/director Dan Gilroy gained a lot of attention for his drama Nightcrawler, which told the story of aspiring crime journalist Lou Bloom (Jake Gyllenhaal) and the immoral lengths he would go to to make a name (and money) for himself.
