Jake Gyllenhaal in Nightcrawler
After playing the Toronto International Film Festival, Nightcrawler made it’s U.S. premiere at Fantastic Fest in Austin last week. Writer/director Dan Gilroy was at the screening to speak about the film after. Jake Gyllenhaal stars as a freelance videographer capturing horrific accidents and crimes to sell to local TV news.

“Do you want to do an interview in bed? It’s never happened. Come on. Nightcrawler Review

IGN Movies - Sat, 2014-09-06 00:05

Nightcrawler Review Nightcrawler is a dirty, grubby, creepy movie; the kind that makes you feel like you need a wash after the credits have rolled. It’s a film that has much to say about the madness of the modern media, about how society has encouraged that insanity, and about the dangerous fallout of mass unemployment. And it’s a masterful directorial debut from screenwriter Dan Gilroy (The Bourne Legacy) that features a grandstanding central performance from Jake Gyllenhaal. The latter plays Lou Bloom, who in the opening scene steals, trespasses, and assaults a security guard.
