Film Review: Hot Tub Time Machine 2 "Hot Tub Time Machine 2" is a sequel to the surprise 2010 comedy hit "Hot Tub Time Machine". Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson and Clark Duke return as Lou Dorchen, Nick Webber and Jacob Yates, respectively. Absent is John Cusack, but in his place Adam Scott joins the group as Cusack's character's son. In this installment, Lou, Nick and Jacob must use the time machine to prevent Lou's murder, as he is shot in I believe the medical term is "junk", in the beginning of the movie. Lou is an insufferable, drug addicted internet mogul/ rock star who has many an enemy.

It’s hard to say exactly what is ending, but any film starring Hollywood’s young comic titans (all of whom are dispensing with the character names and "playing themselves") must be driving at some message….right?
