Chris Pine Confirmed for HORRIBLE BOSSES 2 – We learned last week that Warner Bros. wanted Chris Pine to play one of the horrible bosses in Horrible Bosses 2. Today we can confirm the deal has closed. According to Variety, Pine will play "half of a father-son duo who steal the main characters' idea for a new invention." WB reached out to Christoph Waltz to play Pine's father, but a scheduling issue will likely prevent Waltz from taking the role.

Chris Pine may be trying to keep the world safe from terrorists as the new Jack Ryan, but he isn't above playing against type as one of the bosses in New Line's Horrible Bosses sequel, Deadline has learned. According to the report, Christoph Waltz and Pine are sought to play a father and son team who would bring misery on their employees.


Finding New 'Horrible Bosses' – Colin Farrell was the most awful boss in Horrible Bosses, but New Line is trying hard to top him in the sequel. Word is they have courted Chris Pine and Christoph Waltz to play a father/son awful boss tandem for the next film.
