According to The Avengers' Facebook page (via Bleedingcool), the movie is returning to theaters for a week-long run beginning this Friday. The movie already made over $1 billion at the box office worldwide, $618 million of that in the States alone, so there are very few people who want to see the movie in theaters and haven't.

British actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje is playing one of the lead villains in Marvel's Thor: The Dark World, according to Variety. He will play the role of Algrim the Strong, a mighty dark elf warrior who is transformed into the much stronger Kurse after losing a battle to Thor. The other major villains in the movie are Loki and Malekith the Accursed, played by Tom Hiddleston and Christopher Eccleston, respectively.
