Skyler Gisondo and Steele Stebbins Joining New Line's 'Vacation' Reboot

New Line's Vacation reboot has cast Rusty Griswold's two sons. They will be played by Skyler Gisondo (The Amazing Spider-Man) and Steele Stebbins (A Haunted House 2). The movie stars Ed Helms as Rusty, with Christina Applegate as his wife, Debbie. The new Vacation will find a grown up Rusty taking his whole family on a road trip to Walley World, just as his father had done when he was young.

New Line's Vacation reboot is back on and has added Chris Hemsworth and Charlie Day to the cast, according to THR. Hemsworth is playing a TV anchor named Stone Crandall, who's also the husband of Rusty's sister Audrey, and Day will play a river rafting guide.

Universal is still keen on making that Snow White and the Huntsman sequel -- the nearly $400 million worldwide box office gross is just too much for the studio to ignore. On that front, Universal is close to zeroing in on a director to helm the movie the studio plans to release in 2016.

Disney is serious about releasing a Star Wars movie in theaters every year starting with Episode VII. Before this decade is over, we'll be seeing three spin-offs in between the main episodes. Efforts to turn Beverly Hills Cop into a TV series didn't go anywhere, but apparently, the pilot for the TV show tested so well that Paramount wants to put the fourth movie in production.

Warner Bros. and producer Joel Silver hired Will Beall to write the Lethal Weapon reboot back in 2011 and, apparently, it is starting to bear fruit.
