Bradley Cooper To Play Mack Bolan – It was revealed last week that "Avatar 4" screenwriter Shane Salerno had picked up the film rights to Don Pendleton's prolific book series about elite anti-terrorist operative Mack Bolan. Now, he's made a deal with Warner Bros. Pictures which will see the project be developed as a starring vehicle for Bradley Cooper to play Bolan and Cooper's "The Hangover" series director Todd Phillips to helm.

'American Sniper' Scheduled for Christmas Debut

At this point, Clint Eastwood may not care one way or the other how his movies do, either critically or at the box office. But if he's smarting after the drubbing he took on both fronts with this year's Jersey Boys, he'll get an opportunity to soothe the sting pretty quickly:

Clint Eastwood's 'American Sniper' Gets Christmas 2014 Release Date Warner Bros. has given Clint Eastwood's American Sniper, starring Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller, a limited Christmas day release date. The film will see a wider release on January 16th.The studio has also moved Guy Ritchie's The Man from U.N.C.L.E. from January to August 14, 2015 and the Point Break remake from August 7, 2015 to July 31, 2015.

In today's penny-pinching Hollywood, few things are ever left to chance, and Marvel leaves fewer than most. It should surprise no one, then, that even though Guardians of the Galaxy hasn't even arrived in theaters yet, the studio's already making plans for a sequel -- and given the impressively robust early critical reaction to the movie, it also comes as no surprise that they're bringing back pretty much every member of the original team.

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn and star Michael Rooker presented the Saturn Award for Best Comic-to-Film Motion Picture to Kevin Feige for Iron Man 3. While Feige was photographed with his award, I got to ask Gunn and Rooker about the upcoming Marvel movie. By now you’ve seen the trailer with “Spirit in the Sky” and “Hooked on a Feeling” playing on the soundtrack.
