The Good Dinosaur Early Reviews: Pixar’s Film is Gorgeous, If Conventional Pixar’s second release of 2015 – following this summer’s critical and financial hit, Inside Out – is The Good Dinosaur, which saw a number of problems in its production. The release date for The Good Dinosaur was pushed back following the removal of Bob Peterson as the feature’s director, replaced by Peter Sohn, who teamed with screenwriter Meg LeFauve to rework the film and revise the third act.

At the D23 Expo today, several new scenes were debuted from the upcoming Pixar movie The Good Dinosaur. Behind the scenes, there was some turbulence on The Good Dinosaur, with a change in filmmakers -- Peter Sohn went from co-director to full director, after original director Bob Peterson was taken off the project -- and a delay in the film’s original release date. But anyone who knows Pixar’s history is aware this is not a new scenario for the company, with films like Toy Story 2, Ratatouille and Brave all underdoing pretty dramatic overhauls, only to find success when finished.

Pixar's 'The Good Dinosaur' Gets a Complete Rewrite 2014 marks the first year since 2005 that Pixar has not released a new movie, following the studio's decision to shift their upcoming project The Good Dinosaur from a May 30, 2014 release to November 25, 2015, after they removed director Bob Peterson from the project last August. We haven't heard anything about this delayed Pixar animated adventure since then, but now we have a new update from voice actor John Lithgow, who revealed in a new interview that the studio has completely reworked the story, and he will have to come back in to record the new dialogue next month."I recorded the e

Rumor: 'The Good Dinosaur' Director Bob Peterson Is Off the Film – Pixar has a generally fantastic track record, and the studio’s approach to crafting films relies heavily upon continual editing and revision. Story and dialogue are examined in minute detail, and scenes are subjected to constant review to ensure everything has a place. That process of editing and examination can extend even to the personnel involved in the making of a film. 8 years 14 weeks ago via theothersenhman

Pixar's 'The Good Dinosaur' Gives Prehistoric Creatures a New Image – If there's one thing Pixar does well, it's bring new life to familiar stories and concepts. The idea of toys coming to life wasn't anything new, but the characters of Toy Story were so charming that our heartstrings were pulled hard during their struggles in Toy Story 3. Then WALL-E went and made audiences feel empathy for a robot, and Ratatouille somehow made it not disgusting for a rat to be in the kitchen. 9 years 26 weeks ago via jackiechan
