Blade Runner sequel News
collider.com – When it was first announced that Ridley Scott was heading back into the world of sci-fi with the pseudo-Alien prequel Prometheus, fans were doubly excited about the prospect of Scott dabbling in sci-fi again and the fact that he was returning to one of this classics. The finished film was a bit of a mixed bag, but Scott didn’t seem to mind all that much and is eager to get moving on a sequel. 16 weeks 8 hours ago via jackiechan
bleedingcool.com – The best story about Sean Young taking a meeting about a movie will probably always be the one about her not taking a meeting about a movie. According to industry legend, Young was determined to play Catwoman in Batman Returns and turned up at the Warner Bros. lot in full costume. 16 weeks 6 days ago via brucelee
feedproxy.google.com – The fate of a Prometheus sequel is likely being decided as we speak…on Blu-ray shelves nationwide. Ridley Scott‘s return to the Alien universe just came out on Blu-ray after its slightly disappointing U.S box office, grossing just over $126 million. When combined with its international take, though, the film was a moderate hit, grossing just over $400 million. 31 weeks 6 days ago via jackiechan
collider.com – Fans have been waiting patiently for a mere 30 years now for director Ridley Scott to return to the sci-fi genre, and the wait will finally be over with the release of Prometheus this week. collider.com – No matter how much time you get with director Ridley Scott, it's never enough. After all, you could spend an entire interview discussing the original Alien, Blade Runner, or his under-appreciated gem, Kingdom of Heaven (specifically the director's cut with forty additional minutes that completely changes the film). So when I got to participate in a roundtable interview with Scott yesterday in London for Prometheus, his first sci-fi movie in thirty years, you could say I was a bit excited. 50 weeks 6 days ago via brucelee

When the Blade Runner sequel was first announced last year, Alcon Entertainment's Andrew Kosove said that the movie will be "a total reinvention" and that it won't have "anything to do with Harrison Ford." Oops. Guess he should have consulted with Ridley Scott first.
fb.indiewire.com – It's a Ridley Scott-packed weekend. The filmmaker's secretive, kinda "Alien"-related film, "Prometheus," is right around the corner and the buzz and promotion are at an all time high. That film's star, Noomi Rapace, is on the cover of the New York Times magazine this weekend (with some spoilers along to boot), and as an extra added incentive to see the film in theaters (like you need one), Fox and The Weinstein Company evidently plan to put the trailer for Quentin Taratino's "Django Unchained" in front of it when it opens on June 8th. 51 weeks 3 days ago via donnieyen
