QUARTET-Movie-Image.jpg
Dustin Hoffman’s Quartet is a quick and charming story of late life revival, so surprisingly lithe you’d hardly believe it was a directorial debut. Weinstein Company Acquiring Dustin Hoffman-Directed 'Quartet'

deadline.com – EXCLUSIVE: The Weinstein Company is negotiating to acquire U.S. and Latin America distribution rights to Quartet, the Dustin Hoffman-directed comedy that stars Maggie Smith, Billy Connolly, Michael Gambon and Pauline Collins. The script was written by Ronald Harwood. The deal is upwards of $3 million, I’m hearing. This was a stealth pursuit by TWC’s Harvey Weinstein and David Glasser, but that cover was blown when an acquisition screening scheduled for this evening was abruptly scrapped, with rumors that a buyer paid $4 million for the film. 2 years 32 weeks ago via brucelee

Yes, The Pizza Planet Truck Is In Brave, And That’s Not All

Pizza Truck
bleedingcool.com – There are lots of Pixar traditions, from the regular casting of John Ratzenberger to the repeated appearance of A113, the number of the classroom where John Lasseter studied at CalArts. One such recurring Easter Egg is the Pizza Planet truck, as first featured in Toy Story. There’s been some speculation as to whether or not this truck will appear in Brave, it being a period picture set in a Scotland of some not-entirely-distinct-but-seriously-pre-motor-vehicles past.
