In the story, a zombie apocalypse has been ongoing for 70 years, and the Bennet sisters, Lydia (Ellie Bamber), Jane (Bella Heathcote), Elizabeth (Lily James), Mary (Millie Brady), and Kitty (Suki Waterhouse) are finally sick of it and ready to take on the undead. The film is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Seth Grahame-Smith, which introduces hordes of the shambling undead into Jane Austen’s 1813 society story.
