Largely that’s because it isn’t just a dream. Tim Burton has stated as recently as May that it’s a project he’s still interested in working on under the “right circumstances.” The entire cast seems game to return, and in 2011, Seth Grahame-Smith (Dark Shadows) even went to work writing the screenplay for the sequel.

Winona Ryder Coming Back For Beetlejuice 2‏
