According to Jonathan Liebesman, the script for the sequel to the 2011 movie is being worked on.

In an interview with Collider for WRATH OF THE TITANS (March 30th, folks!), director Jonathan Liebesman was kind enough to give this answer when pressed if there would be a sequel to his relatively successful alien invasion flick: "We've just started the script now, so that's where we are. We have just begun the script."
