"Tell me, how do you make a superman?" asks singer/songwriter Bob Schneider in the opening line of his song "Flowerparts." He then proceeds to run off a list of the expected ingredients -- "Courage and a steady hand / Conviction and a damn good attitude / Spiritual and moral fortitude" -- before reversing course and reminding the listener of what really makes a man super:

We remain perpetually annoyed by the trailers-upon-trailers that every major movie seems to get these days, and also, far be it from this site to ever besmirch anything Terence Stamp has ever done on camera. That being said, the new (and presumably final) Man of Steel promo clip suggests a couple of things:

Well, he doesn't come out and say "Kneel before Zod." But General Zod (Michael Shannon) still has a pretty strongly worded message to deliver in this new promotional video for Warner Bros.' Man of Steel.

Up, up, and away!
On the side of a busy freeway, a woman finds the love, devotion, commitment, and courage she needs – all wrapped up in a bloodied stray dog who becomes her “darling companion.” When the beloved canine goes missing, a shaggy-dog search adventure plays out, drawing together friends and family and rekindling a lifelong love.
Superman takes to the skies once more as Henry Cavill dons the suit, cape and S-shield of the Man of Steel. With an all-star cast that includes Diane Lane and Kevin Costner as Clark's earthbound parents; Oscar winner Russell Crowe as Superman's Kryptonian father; Amy Adams as Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane; Laurence Fishburne as editor Perry White; and Michael Shannon as Superman's otherworldly archenemy General Zod, populations from Smallville to Metropolis are psyched for Superman.

In late September, a last minute change to director Zack Snyder's Superman film, 'Man of Steel' took place: actress Ayelet Zurer replaced Julia Ormond for undisclosed reasons as Superman's (Henry Cavill) biological mother, Lara Lor-Van. She may have just taken the role, but Zurer isn't getting a whole lot of prep time.
