Anthony Hopkins, Ben Kingsley, Felicity Jones Join Nicholas Hoult in ‘Autobahn’

thewrap.com – Oscar winners Anthony Hopkins and Ben Kingsley, as well as Felicity Jones, have signed on to join Nicholas Hoult in Silver Pictures’ action-thriller “Autobahn,” it was announced Thursday by Joel Silver and Stuart Ford, CEO of financier IM Global. Production starts Monday on the film, which has received additional financing from Sycamore Pictures and DMG Entertainment.

In spite of its showy cast, 2010's RED wasn't much more than a pleasantly mind-numbing dose of your average Hollywood over-the-top action thriller, retooled to incorporate the admittedly clever twist of having AARP-eligible actors doing the fake killing -- but it grossed nearly $200 million during its box office run, so now it's a franchise, and Summit's got a new theatrical trailer for RED 2 to prove it.
