Focus World has acquired U.S. rights to Paco Cabezas’ romantic action comedy “Mr. Right,” which stars Anna Kendrick and Sam Rockwell. The movie will make its world premiere as the Closing Night Gala Presentation at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival. Focus World will release the film theatrically and on demand on a date to be determined. Written and executive produced by Max Landis, the film stars Rockwell and Kendrick as two people who are crazy about each other — and maybe just plain crazy.

BOX OFFICE: AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Drops To #3 During Third Week Of Release Avengers: Age of Ultron was unable to remain at the top of the box office for a third week as Pitch Perfect 2 rocketed to the top spot with a projected $64 million weekend. The movie which stars Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, and Elizabeth Banks was predicted to debut with roughly $40 million, but female moviegoers have flocked to the sequel in their droves.

With the Christmas Day release less than a week away, Walt Disney Pictures has released two clips and two featurettes for Into the Woods. Cinderella (Anna Kendrick) pushes away Prince Charming (Chris Pine) after he "strays" in the first clip, while Jack (Daniel Huttlestone) is forced to sell his beloved cow, at the behest of his mother (Tracey Ullman) in the second clip.

'Into the Woods' Debuts Anna Kendrick's Cinderella Song Director Rob Marshall, known for his Best Picture winner Chicago, returns to the musical genre this Christmas with Disney's Into the Woods. Based on the Stephen Sondheim Broadway production of the same name, this fairy tale will obviously feature numerous musical numbers, one of which being "On the Steps of the Palace," sung by Anna Kendrick's Cinderella.

Anna Kendrick ("Pitch Perfect") plays Cinderella in Disney’s fairy tale musical, Into the Woods. Her character isn't sure she wants to settle down with her Prince (Chris Pine). But who could blame her? He's only handsome, rich and charming. She could totally do better. Maybe she could find someone sincere. That might keep the maiden from running away.
