In a story with one foot in academia and the other in a sort of biological denial, Admission seems to be as confused about feminism as I am.

2:34 PM 3/24/2013 by Logan Falk
This weekend’s box office numbers played out pretty predictably, according to the ratings and predicted grosses of the films—this proved to be great news for some of last week’s releases, and not-so-great news for others.
The Croods topped the charts this weekend, earning a hefty sum of $44.7 million; when it comes down to what kind of movie earns the most in the box office, it seems that you can’t beat a decent family film.

New 'Admission' Trailer Offers Tina Fey Life After '30 Rock'
6:49 PM 12/20/2012 by Jeff Giles
Tina Fey is back on the big screen, and she's brought Paul Rudd with her.
Unfortunately, if this latest Admission trailer is anything to go on, she's also brought a messy, schizophrenic script and some of director Paul Weitz's most disjointed work -- this 2:23 clip flits from broad goofball comedy to meet-cute rom-com to inspirational dramedy with alarming speed and alacrity, if not skill.
Watch: College Applicants Are Wacky In New Trailer For 'Admission' With Tina Fey & Paul Rudd

To be sure, applying to college is a frenzy of emotions for high school graduates each year, but we can't remember when it was depicted as being this....wacky....as it is in the trailer for "Admission." The film, directed by Paul Weitz ("Being Flynn," "About A Boy"), is a dramedy promising both laughs and perhaps tears, in a movie we're not quite ready to buy a ticket for just yet.
