The Counselor

Written by Pulitzer Prize winner Cormac McCarthy, "The Counselor" is about a Southwestern lawyer who tries his hand in the drug business but is swallowed in whole. Ridley Scott is attached to direct.

Michael Fassbender has signed on to play the lawyer.

Jeremy Renner, Javier Bardem and Natalie Portman are in talks to join the cast. Angelina Jolie may play a small role in the movie.

"The Counselor" stars Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz, Dean Norris, Goran Visnjic, Javier Bardem, Jeremy Renner, John Leguizamo, Michael Fassbender, Natalie Portman, Penelope Cruz, and Rosie Perez.
