Film Review: Run All Night The gritty Liam Neeson-as-action-star renaissance continues. For his third film in a row, director Jaume Collet-Serra teams with Neeson in an action movie that, for all intents and purposes, positions the septuagenarian as a no-nonsense, down-on-his-luck guy hoping for redemption. Following the breakout success of Taken everybody seemed to want to jump on the Neeson train—with Serra desperately trying to be the one trying to drive it—but at this point nothing seems build on that initial Taken-led spark.
