Will Arnett Joins 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Will Arnett is joining the Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Who he is playing was not revealed.

What is known, however, is that he is not playing Casey Jones, a hockey mask-wearing vigilante who befriends the Turtles during the course of their adventures. The villain Shredder and and the Turtles' sensei, Splinter, are still not cast so there's some possibilities there.

Megan Fox was the first to join the movie and is playing April O'Neil. Providing mo-cap for the four Turtles are Alan Ritchson, Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard and Noel Fisher.

The script is by Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec, and the movie is to be directed by Jonathan Liebesman. According to Bay, the Turtles in this reboot will be of alien origin instead of being the result of mutations caused by a green ooze.

Ninja Turtles is coming to theaters on June 6, 2014.
