What's Popping: 'World War Z 2', 'Avengers 2', 'Star Wars', 'Cruella', 'Ant-Man'

Ant-Man

Should there is a sequel to World War Z, Marc Forster will not be back to direct it, which is not a surprise given the first movie's troubled production. While a sequel is not imminent, they are exploring ideas. "We have a lot of ideas we will cull from," Brad Pitt says.

Elizabeth Olsen has been rumored to be playing the Scarlet Witch in the Avengers sequel, but it's a rumor no more since Samuel L. Jackson has confirmed her casting in an interview with the Wall Street Journal. Aaron Taylor-Johnson has also been confirmed as her brother Quicksilver.

The rumors that Saoirse Ronan has auditioned for a role in Star Wars: Episode VII are true. Ronan won't reveal any details though since her bosses would "chop off her head with a light-saber" if she did. Does this mean she's a lock for a role in the movie?

A live-action movie told from the point of view of Cruella de Vil, the villain in 101 Dalmatians, is in the works at Disney. Aline Brosh McKenna is writing the script, and Glenn Close, who played the character in the 1996 live-action movie, is one of the movie's executive producers.

Ant-Man won't be in theaters until the summer of 2015, but Edgar Wright has given us a look at what the character will look like...from the behind.
