What's Popping: 'Terminator 5', 'Moses', 'Justice League', World War Z', 'Iron Man 3'

According to a blog post which has since taken been taken down, Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed on for Terminator 5 and the movie will probably shoot sometime in 2013. Since the post wasn't sourced, take this bit of info with a big grain of salt. However, the conspiracy theorist in me couldn't help but believe there might be something there. If it's not true, the blogger could have posted an update saying something to the effect, but to have taken down the blog completely smells of pressure from the lawyers. For all we know, this blogger could be on the run from someone sent by the Annapurna Pictures, so if you encounter someone asking you if you've seen a certain blogger, run.

Add Ridley Scott to the list, albeit short, of high-profile directors working a biblical movie. In an interview with Esquire, Scott revealed that he's working on a movie about Moses and he sounded pretty confident about the movie happening. The part of the story that interested him the most, Scott said, is the relationship between Moses and his adopted brother Ramses II. Warner Bros is developing another Moses movie titled Gods and Kings with Steven Spielberg circling to direct. Darren Aronofsky is currently casting up for this movie about Noah, with Russell Crowe starring as the title character.

Warner Bros has hired Gangster Squad scribe Will Beall to write the script for their ensemble superhero movie Justice League. The movie was almost ready to go before the camera back in 2008 with George Miller attached to direct, but due to a combination of factors, it was shelved. With The Avengers making over $1 billion at the box office worldwide, the studio probably has dollar signs in its eyes. According to Mark Millar's friend, who's a friend of Beall, the movie is going be "dark and mature."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, World War Z, the movie based on Max Brook's novel about a zombie pandemic, will need significant reshoots and Paramount has hired Damon Lindelof to rewrite the third act of the movie. World War Z was originally slated for December 12, 2012, but was pushed back to June 21, 2013. The movie stars Brad Pitt as an United Nations employee.

Iron Patriot was thought to be in Iron Man 3 when a set photo showed someone wearing a suit similar to his appeared online. It turns out that's Don Cheadle's, aka War Machine, new armor. So there goes the rumor that James Badge Dale is playing the Iron Patriot in the movie.
