What's Popping: Robin Hood and His Merry Men, Female-led 'Ghostbusters,' 'Bond 24,' 'Painkiller Jane,' 'The Purge 3'

Sony is developing a series of movies centered on Robin Hood and his Merry Men. Seems like "universe" and "Avengers" are two of the keywords studios are looking for when deciding which projects to produce.
The female-led Ghostbusters reboot is a go. Paul Feig will write the script with his collaborator on The Heat, Katie Dippold. Sorry, Dan Aykroyd.
Blue Is the Warmest Color's Lea Seydoux is reportedly joining the next James Bond adventure as the femme fatale.
Judging by the box office of the first and second movies, people wants The Purge to continue. James DeMonaco will return to write, and possibly direct, a third one.
Painkiller Jane directors Jen and Sylvia Soska promise their movie will be an R-rated Wolverine. "Thankfully Jane can live in a hard R world," Sylvia said.
