What's Popping: 'Pirates 5,' 'Mrs. Doubtfire 2,' 'Robopocalypse,' 'Jobs,' 'Die Hard 6'

Perhaps seeing opportunity in the dearth of cross-dressing comedies in today's cinemas, Fox 2000 has set Elf's David Berenbaum to write the script for Mrs. Doubtfire 2. Robin Williams and director Chris Columbus are on board for the sequel, but Mara Wilson has expressed her strong disinterest.
While not officially greenlit yet, Pirates of the Caribbean 5 could start shooting this fall "if everything lines up properly," according to producer Jerry Bruckheimer. Beverly Hills Cop 4, another of Bruckheimer's pet projects, could go before the cameras this year as well.
Robopocalypse may be Steven Spielberg's next movie because it is farthest along on list of movies he will direct. A budget is close to being finalized.
Sony will have to look for another director for its Steve Jobs biopic because talks between David Fincher and the studio fell apart when Fincher reportedly asked Sony to show him the money.
The rumor making the rounds is that Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson will reteam for Die Hard 6, and Fox is meeting with writers for their takes on how to bring these two together.
