What's Popping: 'Ghostbusters 3,' 'Fantastic Four 2,' 'Star Wars,' 'Incredibles 2,' 'Wolverine 2'

Like it or not, we're getting a third Ghostbusters. The movie is sort of a reboot that will be centered on a new generation of Ghostbusters, with the remaining cast members appearing in cameos. Oh yeah, Ivan Reitman has decided not to direct.
Even though the Fantastic Four reboot has not even started shooting, Fox has already staked out July 14, 2017 for the sequel. Now, that's confidence!
Disney chief Bob Iger has revealed that Star Wars: Episode VII will take place 30 years after the events in Return of the Jedi and we will see familiar faces joining a trio of new leads. R2D2, played by R2D2, is the only officially confirmed cast thus far.
The long-asked for sequel to Brad Bird's The Incredibles is coming our way. Bird is writing the screenplay, but no word if he'll direct as well.
James Mangold will return to direct The Wolverine 2, which he's saying will shoot after X-Men: Apocalypse. "There are some really cool ideas that I'm dying to tell you, but that would be giving away a secret that is not even [fully] formed yet," Mangold told EW.
