What's Popping: 'Doctor Strange,' Amazing Spider-Man 3,' 'Ant-Man,' 'Shazam,' and 'Fifty Shades of Grey'

Fifty Shades of Grey

Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hardy were once rumored to be in the running to play the lead role in Marvel's Doctor Strange, but now, all signs seem to be pointing at Joaquin Phoenix.

Due to the underwhelming box office performance of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Sony has decided to delay the release of The Amazing Spider-Man 3 until 2018, and 4 has been pulled from the schedule all together. In the meantime, we're getting the Sinister Six.

Patrick Wilson, Matt Gerald and Kevin Weisman have all left the cast of Marvel's Ant-Man. Wilson left because of "scheduling conflicts" due to production delay and both of Gerald's and Weisman's characters have been written out of the new draft of the script.

We all know Dwayne Johnson is interested in playing a superhero character but which one? The hints he has givens seems to be pointing to Shazam.

The first trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey has arrived. Hope future trailers will give us more because this one is decidedly tame.
