'Vacation' Remake Has the Family Going Back to Wally World

It's been awhile since we had any news on the National Lampoon's Vacation remake, but that drought ends today.
Crave Online (via Joblo) was able to speak with John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the screenwriters and directors for the remake, and get them to speak about what we can expect from the movie.
As reported previously, the Vacation remake can be considered both a sequel and a reboot since the movie takes the plot from the original movie and centers it on Chevy Chase's grown up son, Rusty, who will be played by Ed Helms.
What this means is that Rusty will be taking his own family (his wife and two sons) to Wally World.
"It's another road trip back to Wally World. He realized that his original trip to Wally World brought the family, the Griswold family, closer together and he kind of chose to forget about the horrible moments along the way and decides that what his family needs is some bonding time and wants to take them back on the road again. Safe to say the road to Wally World has not gotten any easier," Daley said.
The movie is aiming to aiming to shoot this spring after Helms is done with The Office.
