Transformers

Almost anyone who had ever looked in the direction of a movie camera has rumored to be in the running to direct the new Star Wars movie, but we know of one who is not: Michael Bay. With his action-comedy Pain & Gain almost complete, he is ready to move on to Transformers 4.

The first person Bay cast in the movie is his Pain & Gain star Mark Wahlberg. He will play the father of a high school senior who has a race car driving boyfriend from Texas.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bay will be test out some actors for the daughter and boyfriend roles sometime this week.

Vying for daughter role are Isabelle Cornish, Nicola Peltz, Margaret Quallay, and Gabriella Wilde.

Up for the boyfriend role are Luke Grimes, Landon Liboiron, Brenton Thwaites, Jack Reynor, and Hunter Parrish.

Whoever is chosen will be signed to a three picture deal, according the trade's sources.

Transformers 4 will take place four years after the events in the last Transformers movie and is looking to shoot in Spring 2013 for a July 4, 2014 release.
