Trailer for Luc Besson's 'The Family' Released

The Family

The first trailer for Luc Besson's mob comedy The Family is here. The movie stars Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Tommy Lee Jones in a story about a mob family getting relocated to Normandy, France under the witness protection program. Check it out below.

De Niro plays Giovanni Manzoni, who along with his wife (Pfeiffer) and two teenage children (Dianna Agron and John D'Leo) try to adjust to their new life in France, but, as we can see, old habits die hard.

The movie is written and directed by Luc Besson. He adapted the script from Tonino Benacquista's novel Badfellas. In an interesting bit of trivia, Martin Scorsese, who is no stranger to gangster flicks, is exec producing the movie.

The Family is being released in the States by Relativity Media later this year on September 20th.

Once you're done with the trailer, head on over to the gallery to check out the production photos and poster for the movie.
