Tony Jaa Resumes Production on "Fast and Furious 7"

According to an interview with Action Elite, international action star Tony Jaa will rejoin the cast in June to finish his scenes for Fast and Furious 7.
He had already shot some scenes with the late Paul Walker, and those scenes will apparently be kept in the film -- looks like the producers will try to preserve as much footage with Walker as they can to celebrate and honor him.
Fast and Furious 7 will be Jaa’s Hollywood debut. Hopefully, it’ll lead to bigger and better things in the States.
Other new additions to the hugely successful action franchise are Kurt Russell, Jason Statham, Michael Jai White, and Djimon Hounsou. Beat that, Expendables.
The seventh installment will be released on April 10, 2015.
Since being released from his contract with the Thai film studio responsible for his breakthrough film Ong Bak, Jaa will also tap into the Chinese market with SPL 2, a sequel to a Donnie Yen cop thriller known for its mixed martial arts infused choreography.
With SPL 2 and Fast and Furious 7, Jaa’s looking to broaden his appeal in the two largest film markets in the world.
