Skyler Gisondo and Steele Stebbins Joining New Line's 'Vacation' Reboot

Skyler Gisondo and Steele Stebbins

New Line's Vacation reboot has cast Rusty Griswold's two sons. They will be played by Skyler Gisondo (The Amazing Spider-Man) and Steele Stebbins (A Haunted House 2). The movie stars Ed Helms as Rusty, with Christina Applegate as his wife, Debbie.

The new Vacation will find a grown up Rusty taking his whole family on a road trip to Walley World, just as his father had done when he was young. Obviously, the trip won't go smoothly.

Chris Hemsworth is in talks to play the husband of Rusty's sister Audrey, and Charlie Day will have a small part as a river rafting guide. Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo will return to play Rusty's parents.

Horrible Bosses screenwriter John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein wrote the script and will be directing.

New Line has not given Vacation a release date, but production is set to begin next month.
