'Seventh Son' Trailer: Witches, Dragons, and Jeff Bridges' Beard

Jeff Bridges has played a lot of things in his career, from an alien to a computer program to an undead sheriff in the upcoming R.I.P.D. But he's never been a part of a full-on fantasy epic -- at least not until now.

Enter The Seventh Son, director Sergey Bodrov's loose adaptation of the bestselling YA novel The Spook's Apprentice. Fans of the book will find a long list of differences between the movie and the source material, but on the big screen, the story finds a young apprentice (Ben Barnes) thrown into the magical war between a grizzled old wizard (Bridges, sporting some excellent facial hair) and his nemesis (Julianne Moore).

The Seventh Son has suffered through a number of release delays, but it appears to finally be on the right track at Warner Bros.; it's currently scheduled for release on October 18. Check out the trailer below:
