Relativity Releases New 'Free Birds' Trailer

Free Birds

Recognizing that if America is ever going to care about an animated movie starring talking turkeys, they'll probably do it while they're thinking about Thanksgiving dinner, Relativity Media is ramping up to the release of Free Birds this November 1 -- and they've just released a new trailer for your perusal.

The story, about a gaggle of fowl who travel back in time to try and erase the Thanksgiving tradition of eating stuffed turkey, sounds about as silly as anything we've seen come down the animated pike in recent memory, with the possible exception of Turbo. But to assuage filmgoers' fears, director Jimmy Hayward (working from a script he co-wrote with Scott Mosier) has lined up a marquee voice cast, including Woody Harrelson, Owen Wilson, and Amy Poehler.

Will their talents be enough to put butts in seats on November 1? Check out this clip and see if you're in any rush to find out.
